John Jauregui, Director of Global Initiatives

Rev. John Jauregui joined the Ignite Hope staff as a result of God’s calling and his personal passion to support and resource families walking out foster and adoptive journeys. After several years as a family minister in the local church, God has been preparing John for this opportunity for Christ-centered family ministry for his entire life time. Being an adoptive dad (international) and an adoptive grandpa (domestic) twice-over has given him a unique perspective into this space. Prior to ministry, John logged over 34 years at Lockheed Martin (aerospace engineering) and 10 years at The Georgia Family Council, now known as The Georgia Center for Opportunity. John earned his Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering degree from Georgia Tech and his Masters of Divinity degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. John and his wife Janice have been married for 50 years. They have two daughters, two sons-in-law, six grandchildren and two grand-dogs.
